Soap dishes
Soap dishes help your soap last longer. Placing it on a dish helps it dry out after use. Dishes can be freestanding or recessed and attached to the wall of the shower or bathroom.
Soap dishes also keep the dried soap film buildup from getting on the surface of the sink. They can be wooden, marble, glass, gold, nickel, copper, brass, and more. Metals cost more, obviously, but aren’t necessarily “better” at cradling soap than wood or plastic.
Depending on your price range, soap dishes are highly customizable. You can pretty much make a soap dish out of any material, save paper. If you use bar soap though, a soap dish is a very useful item many don’t want to live without!
